Overview

Demonstrated close-range photogrammetric reconstruction using structured image capture workflows to generate detailed 3D surface models. The project illustrates Mosaic Corvus’ ability to document individual features and irregular surfaces in complex coastal environments using overlapping imagery and controlled capture geometry.

Environmental conditions such as irregular stone, debris, and reflective surfaces introduce reconstruction noise. Post-processing and mesh cleanup were applied to isolate the region of interest and improve model clarity.

Overview

Processed UAV-derived imagery to generate a 3D reconstruction of a coastal shoreline environment. The dataset highlights real-world photogrammetry challenges including surface clutter, debris, and variable textures common to intertidal zones.

Initial reconstruction was completed in WebODM, followed by targeted cleanup and clipping in CloudCompare to isolate key features and reduce environmental noise.
