Mosaic Corvus is a small, remote geospatial services company focused on photogrammetry and drone mapping. We work with hobbyists, researchers, and environmental projects to transform aerial imagery into clear, usable spatial data. Our approach emphasizes accuracy, transparency, and workflows tailored to each project’s needs.
Who We Are
Benny is the founder of Mosaic Corvus and holds a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science. He has experience working with drone imagery, photogrammetry, and GIS analysis, with a background in environmental monitoring projects such as coastal sediment analysis and Purple Sea Urchin habitat mapping. He is passionate about the environment, mapping, and making geospatial data accessible to a wider audience. Outside of his technical work, Benny enjoys spending time outdoors, including camping and backpacking, and is always looking for the next adventure.
Daniel Mateo is the co-founder of Mosaic Corvus and holds a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Science, with a background in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. He has experience working with GIS analysis and geospatial workflows, including the development of automation tools for benthic data analysis during graduate research. His work involved building Python-based geospatial analysis scripts to streamline data processing and improve analytical efficiency. His interests include live music, staying active, gaming, and exploring nature, which complement his analytical and technical approach to geospatial problem-solving.
